The Soccer Express story began in 1978 when founder Dave Jenson began selling Minnesota Kicks merchandise out of his dorm room at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. Being a soccer player and enthusiast, Dave noticed it was nearly impossible to find quality soccer gear in the Twin Cities. He decided it was time to give soccer players a place where they could find everything they needed to play and get properly outfitted by knowledgable players and enthusiasts such as himself. Soccer Express was born of that desire.

In the thirty years since those formative years, soccer has obviously become more popular and gear more readily available. However, it remains as true today as then that quality gear and knowledgable help is a rare commidity. Dave and the rest of the Soccer Express staff remain as committed today as from the beginning to be the resource for the soccer gear, proper fitting and knowledge only committed professionals can provide.
